The XSP2 utilizes a custom 14mm dual-layer independentdiaphragm high-damping dynamic driver, which provides excellentsound rebound performance. It also features a horn-style soundguide structure, a large buffered rear chamber, and an air ventstructure with three lmm straight-through holes and one dampinghole. This design not only increases the total amount of air pushedby the diaphragm, thereby enhancing sound energy propagationand improving sonic quality, but also reproduces more sonic details.
As the flagship model following the XSPl, the XSP2 boastsa dual-diaphragm, horn-loaded design, delivering a moreenergetic sound and reproducing more detail than theXSPl's natural, transparent sound. Its sonic qualitysurpasses the XSPl, with increased dynamics and theability to better distinguish between the primary tones andovertones ofinstruments. While its vocal performance iscomparable to the XSPl, the XSP2 boasts a widersoundstage and more powerful dynamics, delivering apowerful punch in high-pitched moments.
The front chamber consists ofthree sections: the aircompression area (A), the horn diffusion area (B),and the reflection area (C). The principle is: thediaphragm pushes air, compressing it in area A andtransmitting it to area B for energy transfer andamplifcation. Then, it reflects from area C andconcentrates it at the sound outlet, sending theenergy into the ear canal.
The cavity is also designed with three circularthrough-holes and one elliptical damping hole tocontrol air flow for tuning. This can make theheadphone sound field more natural, eliminatefalse low frequencies, and extend theheadphone's frequency band response width.
The ultra-large rear chamber, with an equivalent volume of530μL, is morethan three times that ofconventional flat-ear headphones, effectively improving bass quality.
The chamber also features three circular through-holes and an elliptical
damping hole to control air flow for tuning. This creates a more natural
soundstage, eliminates false low frequencies, and extends the headphone's
frequency response.
