Oh my god, the bass is overflowing! 🎧
Appearance: The panel design is very attractive. It seems to have incorporated glitter, which creates a subtle sparkle under light, giving it a certain sense of depth. The 3D printed resin cavity is decent in terms of fit.
The KB02 sounds flat and strained when directly driven, with vocals protruding. It's simply unlistenable and doesn't sound good; it's a headphone that's quite demanding on power. Therefore, I'll directly describe my listening experience with my setup. I replaced the headphone cable with the Muerge Youlan cable, used Zone ear tips, and the Shanling UA6 source. The overall sound is bass-heavy, but the high frequencies aren't dull. When properly driven, the high frequencies can be boosted when needed. The soundstage is wide horizontally, but average vertically, and not very large overall (perhaps due to the source; I feel I haven't yet reached its full potential). The most captivating aspect of the KB02 is its bass performance. The bass is plentiful, impactful yet not overly so, full, powerful, energetic, and elastic. The ultra-low frequencies feel like they're delivered by the bone conduction unit, presenting a very realistic listening experience. You could say the KB02's bass performance can compete with many near-1000 yuan headphones. It's good; I quite like it. The resolution and separation are acceptable, and the vocals are at a moderate distance without any particular bias. It's quite omnivorous, but if you can't accept a lot of low-frequency foods, you can go elsewhere.
The bass doesn't affect the clarity and loudness of the mid and high frequencies.
The same applies to this earphone. Although it has a high bass ratio, it's not entirely satisfactory.
Minor issues exist; the cohesion and speed are slightly lacking.
It's like a fluffy, boundless ball of cotton, pleasing to the ear.
I think the mid and high frequencies of this earphone are quite good; firstly, it has a bit of brightness and clarity.
It's not harsh nor too thin, giving it a slightly upturned shape. The advantage of this arrangement is that it's quite versatile and acceptable for an entry-level Hi-Fi setup.
